
The Michigan Flyers Special hockey team is dedicated to the development and enjoyment of hockey for the developmentally or physically challenged athletes. The team consists of players and volunteers from various counties in the southeast areas of Michigan. The Michigan Flyers are affiliated with the St. Clair Shores Hockey Association and included as part of their 501(c)(3) status.​ Our coaches and volunteers work closely with the athletes to keep both practice and competitive efforts running smoothly. We like to make it as fun as possible for the players.

Who can join:
Anyone who has a physical or mental disability. We welcome athletes of all ages and skill level.
What do I need to play:
Helmet, hockey skates, hockey stick, and hockey pads. If you don't have equipment our coaches can work with you and help find the equipment you might be missing.
What activities can I expect my athlete to be involved in:

Weekly practices: 90 minutes of on ice skills and scrimmages (September - March)
